The Electroliners were operated by the Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee Railroad on it's route between Chicago & Milwaukee. The trainsets were built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1941 and consisted of two end units and two center units. The end units had luxury and smoking sections and one of the center units was a tavern lounge. The set depicted is operated by the Illinois railway Museum.
